Nothing you type or open here is uploaded. Every tool runs inside your browser. There is no server that receives your files, your numbers or your text, because there is no server at all: this site is static files on a CDN.
You do not have to take that on trust. Open your browser's network tab and use any tool, or disconnect from the internet after the page loads. The tools keep working. Our automated tests assert exactly this on every tool, on every commit.
What we collect
| Thing | Do we have it |
|---|---|
| Your name, email or any account | No. There are no accounts |
| Files you open in a tool | No. They never leave your device |
| Numbers and text you enter | No. Held in the page, and in your browser's storage only if you ask |
| Your results | No. Nothing is stored, so there is nothing to leak or subpoena |
| Payment details | No. Polar handles payment and holds the receipt email |
Cookies
We set none. Your theme choice, your advertising personalisation choice and, if you buy Pro, your licence key are kept in your browser's local storage. Local storage is not sent to any server, which is why a cookie would be pointless here. The advertising script is a third party and does set one; that is the next section, and it is the only cookie on this site.
Our analytics is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors. It tells us how many people viewed a page and roughly where in the world they were. It cannot tell us who you are.
Advertising is the one exception
The free tier is funded by two adverts per page, and the ad script is the only third-party code here. The adverts show whether or not you accept, because showing an advertisement is not what requires consent — storing an identifier and building a profile is.
Non-personalised is the default, and it is what you get unless you explicitly allow personalisation: adverts chosen from the page you are on rather than from a profile about you. Google still receives what any request carries — IP address, user agent, page URL. Nothing you type into a tool is ever included, because none of it leaves your device.
Declining removes the profile, not the cookie. Google sets one either way, to cap how often you see the same advert, to count impressions and to catch fraud. We would rather say so than tell you something the cookies page then contradicts on screen — it reads your own browser and shows you what is actually there. A genuinely storage-free mode exists, AdSense calls it “limited ads”, and it needs a certified consent platform we have not integrated yet. The full detail is on the cookies page.
Pro removes advertising entirely, and with it this whole section, the cookie and the only third-party code on the page. It is the only way to switch adverts off, and we would rather say that than offer a button that pretends to.
Your rights, and why they are easy here
Access, deletion, portability and correction all assume somebody is holding data about you. We are not. To delete everything this site has ever stored about you, clear your browser storage for this domain.
If you bought Pro, Polar holds your receipt as the merchant of record. Their customer portal handles receipts, invoices and refunds directly.
